Farmers Merchant is a coffee shop with much more. As the “Healthy Alternative in Eating” in Owensville we offer meals, home made soups and unique sandwiches for lunch. Our home made pies, bread pudding and Central Dairy ice cream are favorite desserts. Coffee is sold by the cup, whole bean or ground. Our imported Italian espresso machine and specialty roasted espresso combine with barista skills to create top notch lattes, cappuccinos and other espresso drinks for morning, noon or afternoon. Our coffees are roasted by Chauvin family roasters in south St. Louis. You can buy coffee beans by the pound off the shelf; we’ll grind it for free. Other Missouri products also available on our shelves. Apple butter comes from Centennial Farms of Augusta; wines are from local vineyards and wineries; honey is from Hermann; rice is from Bernie; barbeque sauces are from Montreal; cheese ball, dip and soup mixes are from Mt. Vernon; jams and jellies are from Kansas City; gluten free and flour products are from Gainesville. Every effort is made to acquire products from Missouri. |
